Attribution policy

Authors must provide accurate citation and referencing for any prior publication or presentation of the ideas or work incorporated into your submission. This includes clearly describing how such prior work contributes to and informs the current research, thereby ensuring proper attribution of credit. Such practices are essential to prevent potential authorship disputes and to avoid allegations of plagiarism or unethical academic conduct, including the unacknowledged use of others' ideas, redundant publication, or the verbatim reproduction of text from other sources without adequate attribution or indication.

This requirement extends to the citation and referencing of your own previously published research, as well as dissertations, conference papers, workshop presentations, and communications on academic forums or listservs, ensuring that a complete and transparent history of the work is documented.

Furthermore, to promote transparency and accountability in published research, the journal requires full and accurate attribution of all assets. Accordingly, every figure and table caption must include an appropriate credit line, acknowledgment, or attribution where permission has been granted for use. If the figure or table is the property of the author(s), this must also be explicitly stated in the caption.

References to other publications must conform to the IEEE referencing style as prescribed for the journal. Detailed guidance can be found in the Submission Guidelines. All references should be thoroughly checked for completeness, accuracy, and consistency prior to submission.
